Marlene Minor's Obituary
Marlene Minor, 73, of Vernon, CT, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010. She was born in Manchester, NH, daughter of the late Joseph and Gussie (Trumbull) DeNies. Marlene was the former manager of Sun Valley Resort in Stafford Springs. She greatly enjoyed painting and playing the piano. Marlene is survived by her former husband, Robert Minor of Ellington, CT; four children, Michael Minor and his wife Tracie of Stafford Springs, CT, Mathew Minor and his wife Mary of Stafford Springs, CT, Mark Minor and his wife Mona of Ellington, CT, and Michele Minor and her friend Julie of Ellington, CT; six grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two sisters, Marilyn and Bonnie; a brother, Greg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Home and Community Health Services, Hospice Program, P.O. Box 1199, Enfield, CT 06083.
