Mary Collette's Obituary
Mary L. Collette, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Clifford A. Collette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT, with her family by her side. She was born in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Williams) Russell. Mary had worked at the University of Connecticut as a chef, and was a member of St. Edward Parish, the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her three loving daughters and devoted sons-in-law, Cheryl and Brian Vail, Linda and David Belcher, and Michele and Michael Lerch; the joys of her life, her seven grandchildren, Keri Rollins and her husband Les, Kelly Murdock and her husband Steve, Sharon Dolaher and her husband Eric, Steve Belcher and his wife Jess, and Nickolas, Suzhaunna, and Jonathan Lerch; her special nine great grandchildren, Lauren, Zach, Austin, Jake, Cole, Mackenzie, Maggie, Leah, and Kyle; her loving brother, Charles "Skip" Russell and his wife Marilyn; her very dear friend, Edie Vail; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Laurie Collette; great grandson, Brian John Murdock; and five siblings, Margaret Magulas, Frances Ouellette, Dorothy Lang, Richard Russell, and Robert Russell. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Clifford A. and Mary L.
