Mary E. Heinz's Obituary
Mary E. Heinz, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, née Maria Raffa, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Manchester, CT, daughter of the late Luigi and Lucia (Lauri) Raffa. Mary did clerical work at Travelers Insurance for many years until retirement. She is survived by her two children, David Heinz and Bonnie Miner; two sons-in-law, Sherwood H. Aborn, Jr. and Jeffrey Smith; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman R. Heinz, and more recently her companion, Albert Martino; and her two daughters, JoAnn Smith and Kathleen Aborn. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard Cemetery, Rte. 74, Vernon, CT.
