Mary Kubacka's Obituary
Mary A. (Malack) Kubacka, 92, of Stafford Springs, CT, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Evergreen Health Care Center in Stafford Springs, CT. She was the wife of the late William J. Kubacka. Born in Coaldale, PA on September 22, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Mikusek) Malack. Mary’s earlier years were spent in Pennsylvania and Willington, CT, but after her marriage in 1941, most were lived in Stafford Springs, CT. She was employed at B. Schwanda & Sons button factory and other textile mills in the Stafford area. She was a devoute communicant of St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Isabella #785, and the Stafford Senior Center. Mary leaves a daughter, Irene Peterson and her husband Harold, of Bolton, CT; a grandson, Michael Peterson and his wife Jessica of Manchester, CT; a great grandson, Benjamin Peterson; two sisters, Ann Kubacka and Rose Kubacka; a brother, Francis Malack and his wife Katherine; sister-in-law, Olga Kubacka; several nieces; a nephew; and many friends. Besides her husband, Mary was predeceased by a daughter, Mary; and a son, William. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the medical staff and aids, especially Nicole, at Evergreen and especially Evercare Nurse Practitioner, Nancy Nurge, for the loving care given to Mary. Also, Caring Solutions, Home & Community Health Services, Inc., Companions and Homemakers, and Meals on Wheels, are thanked for providing needed services to Mary in her later life.
