MaryLou Colozzi's Obituary
MaryLou Colozzi, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late George J. and Mary A. (Driscoll) Panciera. MaryLou had worked for several years in the Town of Stafford school system as a paraprofessional. Her favorite pastimes were collecting and selling antiques, traveling, and computer games. She especially enjoyed hanging out with her friends and the YaYa’s. Above all, she loved her family, especially her granddaughters. MaryLou is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Kenneth Colozzi; two children, Kate Fiano and her husband Dan, and Jon Colozzi and his wife Debbie; three granddaughters, Bella, Leigha, and Lily; and nephew, Christopher Panciera. She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter and John “Jack” Panciera; and her nephew, Michael Panciera. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 1-3 P.M., with a funeral service to take place at 3 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Foundation for Prader-Willi, 340 S. Lemon Ave. #3620, Walnut, CA 91789.
