Matthew R. Pothier's Obituary
Matthew R. Pothier, 37, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. He was born in Rockville, CT, son of Kimberly (Lamelin) Chase and the late Richard Pothier. Matthew struggled with mental health and addiction during his life, but he loved his boys more than anything else. Matthew loved art, was an expert rollerblader and BMX biker. Matthew was extremely book smart and had a friendly personality and hearty laugh. He is survived by his two sons, Hunter and Jay Pothier; mother, Kimberly Chase and her significant other John Morianos; brother, Nickolas Pothier and his wife Sarah; grandmother, Virginia McNellis and her husband Joe; nephew, Mason; niece, Alexis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
