May K. Royce, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Earl S. Royce, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Cecelia (Fregeau) Kihl. May was a member of the Stafford Grange No. 1. She spent her time knitting, sewing, cooking, and playing cards. She adored her Santa collection and decorating for Christmas. Above all, she loved her family. May is survived by her three children, Albert Royce and his wife Diane, Earl Royce and his wife Ellen, and Brenda Cayton and her husband Vihn; four grandchildren, Michael and his wife Nicole, Michelle and her husband James, Stacy, and Amber; and four great grandchildren, Jarell, Adrianna, Jazzmine, and Aiden. Calling hours are on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
