Melvin Ungewitter's Obituary
Melvin Ungewitter, 76, resident of Ellington, CT for over 50 years, passed away on February 7, 2008. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Charles and Rose (Petig) Ungewitter. He was employed by and retired from The Hartford Freezer. Melvin is survived by his three daughters, Lynn Lallier and Dana Ungewitter of Ellington, CT, and Joyce Ruble and her husband Daniel of Newport News, VA; three grandchildren, Tammy Sanborn and her husband Justin of Coventry, CT, and Alexandria and Charles Ruble of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Arlene Movchuk of Suffield, CT, and Lillian Mead of Marco Island, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Elmer and Charles Ungewitter; and his sister, Phyllis Padin. His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
