Michael J. Cheney's Obituary
Michael J. Cheney, 34, of Danielson, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was born in Rockville, CT, son of Alfred Cheney and the late Pearl (Chambers) Cheney. Mike worked in carpentry and as a mechanic. He was an energetic, family man, who loved his children and fiancé. He had a heart of gold. Mike was also a Boston Bruins fan, and motorsports enthusiast. Besides his father Alfred, Mike is survived by his beloved fiancé, Jessica Knapp; three sons, Grayson, Bryce, and Jayden; three siblings, Fred Cheney and his wife Tanya, Brandy Alson and her fiancé Luke Pariseau; and Robin “Bow” Cheney and her boyfriend Rick Bocash; nieces and nephews, David, Kylie, Emily, Cearra, and Tay; and his dog, Venus. His funeral service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
