Michael J. Hebert's Obituary
Michael J. Hébert, 63, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Jacques and Jeannine (St. Pierre) Hébert, and traveled the world for over 30 years working on offshore drilling rigs. As a devoted member of the Italian Benefit Society for over 30 years, and later as a board member, he enjoyed contributing his time and leaves behind many close friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, driving his boat, riding motorcycles, classic cars, and music, as well as visiting the local speedway and watching races on television.
Michael is survived by his loving wife and best friend Dale (Guardiani) whom he had been with for 40 years and been married to for 28; his two sons Brett and Evan; and seven siblings: Collene, predeceased by her husband Bob, Donna, Patti and her husband Clay, Tina and her husband Andy, Debbie and her husband Bob, Tim and his partner Lynn, and Beth and her husband Steve; his numerous nieces and nephews; and of course his dog, Marlee, who gave him great comfort. He is also predeceased by his close friend Marty.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks for all of the support, friendship, and wonderful care that he and his family received in his time of need.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday December 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc. 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs CT.
