Michael Hnath,'s Obituary
Michael W. Hnath, Sr., 88, of Woodstock, CT and formerly of Ashford, CT, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Windham Community Memorial Hospital, Windham, CT. He was born in Ashford, CT, son of the late John and Rose (Lesnick) Hnath. Michael was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and retired from the University of Connecticut as a maintenance worker. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice K. Hnath of Woodstock, CT; a son, Michael W. Hnath, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Woodstock, CT; a daughter, Lynn H. Warren and her husband Edward of Ashford, CT; five grandchildren, Sam, Adreana, Anthony, Michael, and Devon; a brother, Stephen Hnath of Ashford, CT; three sisters, Rose Furness of Stafford Springs, CT, Veronica Kominski and her husband Edward of Ashford, CT, and Beatrice Troiano and her husband Frank of Enfield, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Hnath. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
