Michael "Mikey" Panciera's Obituary
Michael L. "Mikey" Panciera, 26, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved son of Laura and the late Peter Panciera, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 25, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Stafford and a graduate of Stafford High School. He was the owner of Straight Line Painting and Seal Coating of Stafford. Besides his mother Laura, Mikey is survived by his loving brother, Christopher; and his grandmother, Sandy Abatte, both of Stafford Springs, CT. Mikey also left behind his special friend, Melissa Franklin; aunts and uncles, Jack Panciera, Ken and Marylou Colozzi, and Michael and Gina Herring; and cousins, Kate, Jon, and Sarah. Surely, he will also be missed by his loyal dog, Buddy. Mikey was known for his outgoing and easy personality, as well as his loyalty to friends and family. Frequently, he could be seen fishing with friends or family at various locations around Stafford. He was an avid Red Sox fan and attended many games. He would always greet his family with a big smile, a hug and a kiss. His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
