Michael J. Nashwinter's Obituary
Michael J. Nashwinter, 76, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, son of the late Paul and Martha (Shadeck) Nashwinter. Mike served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He worked all his life as an auto body technician and owned his own shop, Classic Auto Body. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Monica (Garzione) Nashwinter; two sons, Keith M. Nashwinter and Christopher J. Nashwinter; two grandchildren, Anthony M. Nashwinter and his wife Jessica, and Lorina Nashwinter; three siblings, Diane Walp and her husband Chris, Stan Nashwinter and his wife Carla, and Richard Nashwinter and his wife Billie; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Nashwinter; and sister, Patricia Garlock. His funeral will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, with a procession forming at 9:30 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Church, 141 Maple St., Ellington, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
