Michael S. Zelz's Obituary
Michael S. Zelz, 62, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2023. He was born in Stafford Springs, son of the late John W. Zelz, Sr. and Frances (Jemiola) Zelz. Michael retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections as a warehouse supervisor, and was a longtime member of the Italian Benefit Society in Stafford. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathleen (Mahon) Zelz; two daughters, Megan and Brooke Zelz; granddaughter, Oakleigh Dow; brother, John W. Zelz, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and his infant daughter, Carly Zelz. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M., with a memorial service beginning at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A reception will follow the service at the Italian Benefit Society, 12 Club Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
