Milton Michaud's Obituary
Milton "Mitts" Michaud, 68, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born in Fort Kent, ME, son of Egline (Bernier) Michaud and the late Joseph T. Michaud. Mitts retired from Big Y supermarket as a meat manager after having been employed by various supermarkets throughout his career. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #6934 of St. Philip the Apostle Church. Mitts is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen (Creehan) Michaud of Ashford, CT; his two children, Sherry A. Frank and her husband David of Ashford, CT, and Wayne T. Michaud of Woodstock, CT; three grandchildren, Steven, Tanya, and Stacy Frank; four great grandchildren, Isabellea, Kaitlin, Travis, and Dominic Frank; eight siblings, Mildred Caron and her husband Arnold of Maine, Joseph "Joel" Michaud and his wife Lorilla of Enfield, CT, Frieda Grenier of Vernon, CT, Gilman Michaud and his wife Betty of Maine, Clifford Michaud and his wife Doula of Colchester, CT, Harold Michaud and his wife Patricia of Florida, Lester Michaud and his wife Carlene of Southington, CT, and Judy Boucher of Maine; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Benton Michaud. His funeral will be held on Monday, December 1, 2008, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Pompey Hollow Rd. (Rte. 44), Ashford, CT. Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery, Ashford, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Philip Cemetery, P.O. Box 429, Ashford, CT 06278. Donations will be used for the beautification of the cemetery.
