Myra Mcquaid's Obituary
Myra 'Molly' (DeCarli) McQuaid, 80, of Conklin Road , Stafford Springs, CT, widow of William 'Weep' McQuaid, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 6, 2007. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, the eldest daughter of the late Joseph L. DeCarli, Sr. and Maria (Fontanella) DeCarli. Only recently widowed by Weep's death, she greatly enjoyed reading, playing the piano, gardening and feeding the birds, especially her favorite cardinals, and spending time with her family and friends, in particular her two beautiful granddaughters, Alison and Samantha Moonan. Molly is survived by her three daughters: Karen McQuaid of Stafford Springs, CT, Jane Moonan and her husband Rick of Stafford Springs, CT, and Anne Caluori and her husband Bob Pruitt of Arlington, Virginia; her sister Dahlia DeCarli of Orlando, FL, and her brother Joseph A. DeCarli and his wife Marilyn, also of Orlando, FL. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the West Stafford Fire Department, 144 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
