Nancy L. Robinson's Obituary
Nancy L. Robinson, 75, of Ellington, CT, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Thomas Z. and Doris E. (Martin) Laskow. Nancy, affectionately known as Nanny to her granddaughter and close family, enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, shopping (especially on QVC), making latch hook rugs, reading, UCONN Women’s basketball, and her daughter in law Donna’s homemade banana bread. Nancy loved collecting snowmen, angels, and anything with a fiber optic flair. Nancy’s greatest joy in life was seeing her children and granddaughter grow up into successful individuals. She lit up with joy the last couple of months enjoying the company of her first great grandson and getting lots of baby snuggles. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gary Robinson; two children, Tammy Foss and Nelson Foss and his wife Donna; granddaughter, Amber Foss and her husband Edward Houser; great grandson, Hudson; two brothers, Thomas Laskow and his wife Lee, and Roger Laskow and his wife Ann; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Nelson E. Foss, Sr.; daughter, Dawn Foss; and three siblings, Carol Lee, Walter Laskow, and Georgia Bartholomew. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
