Neil W. Jewell's Obituary
Neil W. Jewell, 66, of Manchester, CT, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a struggle with cancer. He was born in Hanover, NH, son of the late Mansil and Hazel (Laundry) Jewell. After his schooling, Neil attended the Job Corps. He was employed as a logger at Great Brook Lumber in Massachusetts, and at Burke Ridge Construction in Connecticut as a logger/construction worker. He was in his glory working outdoors. Neil was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed trips to the casino and the Fast Lane. Neil is survived by his lifetime companion, Ila Jewell; his sons, Larry Jewell and his wife Arlene, and Neil M. Jewell and his wife Corina; daughter, Barbara Jo Jewell and her companion John Kelly; brother, Ray Jewell; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Tracy Jewell. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 4-6 P.M. with a memorial service to take place at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
