Nello Bachiochi's Obituary
Nello "Unkie" Bachiochi, 92, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Dedimo and Angeline (Zollet) Bachiochi. Nello retired as a foreman from the Town of Stafford after working for over 40 years. In his early years he was always teacher's pet at St. Edward School. Later in life he took great pleasure in the enjoyment that others got out of his collections of stuffed animals. He was predeceased by his siblings Rose (Bachiochi) King, John Bachiochi and wife Ruth, and Geno Bachiochi and wife Claire. Nello is survived by his brother-in-law, Robert King and his wife Phyllis; nieces and nephews, Robert King, Donald and Mary King, David and Cathy King, Richard and Teal King, John and Myrna Bachiochi, David and Jill Bachiochi, Michael and Linda Bachiochi, Donna and Peter Bourque, Peter Bachiochi, and Lisa Bachiochi and Rev. William Keane; and many great nieces and nephews. The family would also like to acknowledge the years of indispensable help provided by his caregiver Sheryl Buckley. A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 11 A.M. - 12 noon with a funeral service to take place at 12 noon at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to St. Edward School Memorial Fund, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
