Nicholas C. Dooley's Obituary
Nicholas C. Dooley, 25, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Manchester, CT, on April 12, 2001, Nick was a graduate of Tolland High School and was currently a student at Connecticut Aero Tech in East Hartford, CT. He was pursuing a career in aircraft repair and maintenance, with plans to continue his education and finish his bachelor's degree in computer science. Nick was determined, hardworking, and excited about the future he was building.
Growing up, Nick enjoyed playing hockey and carried that same spirit of teamwork and perseverance throughout his life. He found his greatest joy spending time outdoors, whether hiking, camping, snowmobiling or fishing with his dad. Some of his favorite memories were made during family vacations, especially those to Cape Cod, where he cherished time spent with those he loved most.
Nick will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, curiosity, kind heart, and the love he had for his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Mark Taylor; his father, Charles Dooley; his sister, Kaylie Taylor; his stepsister, Jenna Taylor; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Bibo; his aunt, Michelle Gerokoulis and her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Alyssa; his uncle, John Bibo, Jr.; his step grandmother Mary Taylor; special cousin Steven Rodgers and his wife Kristin and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Bibo, Sr., and his paternal grandparents, David and Elinor Dooley and step grandfather Ronald Taylor.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Tolland, CT.
