Noel Works' Obituary
Noel G. Works, 75, of Willington, CT, passed away on December 18, 2007 in Lake Worth, FL. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Marcus H. and Anna (Serafin) Works. Noel was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired as a construction worker having been employed by Mihaliak Construction and Becker Construction. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Noel is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jane E. (Safranek) Works of Willington, CT; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Geoffrey Schimmelpfennig and their children Carli, Adam, and Alexa of Pomfret Center, CT; a step daughter, Linda Deane and her children Jason Waite, Jermey Waite, Corissa Salgado, and Evan Deane; a son and daughter, Michael and Sharon; two brothers, Francis R. Works of Tolland, CT and John H. Works of Stafford Springs, CT; a sister, Judith A. McAnanama of Staffordville, CT; an aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His funeral will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
