Nona F. Tennant's Obituary
Nona F. (Prentiss) Tennant, 74, of Willington, CT passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Vernon Manor. She was born in Rockville, CT, daughter of the late Milton and Evelyn (Furness) Prentiss. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching country western shows, and loved her pets. Nona is survived by three children, John N. Tennant and his wife Sara, Matthew Tennant and his wife Erin, and Sabrina Warren and her husband Allen; five grandchildren, Marcus, Elley, Ian, Lucas, and Kiernan; two great grandchildren, James and Bentlee; three siblings, Howard, Billy and Barry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, John E. Tennant in 2024; and eight siblings. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 PM, concluding with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place at a later date in Park Cemetery, Miracle Run, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Willington Public Library, 7 Ruby Rd., Willington, CT 06279.
