Norene Whiteley's Obituary
Norene (Delargy) Whiteley, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, the wife of the late Thomas W. Whiteley, walked off into the arms of her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 1, 2025. Norene was born in Hardwick, MA, the daughter of the late William Delargy, and the late Sophie Tracey, and her stepdad, Robert Tracey. She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Dino DePellegrini and their children, Dominic, Francesca and Vinny of Stafford Springs, CT; son, Thomas Whiteley and his wife, Sharleen of Prospect, CT; grandchildren, Aben and Melissa Whiteley, and two great-grandchildren, Syd and Amos Whiteley all of New Hampshire; a sister, Helen Bessette of Ware, MA; a brother, William Tracey and his wife Linda of Texas; and her cousin, Gary Mondor of Palmer, MA, who being only four months older, shared her life from the cradle. She was predeceased by her son, Guy Michael and his wife Terrie Whiteley; her grandson, Jeramey Whiteley; sisters, Joan Seyer and Ann Comstock; and brother, John Delargy. A memorial service will be held at the Talcottville Congregational Church, 10 Elm Hill Road, Vernon, CT, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private. No flowers please.
