Norman D. Dumais' Obituary
Norman D. Dumais, 65, of Windsor Locks, CT, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away on December 26, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Norman was born in Presque Isle, ME to Egline (Pelletier) Dumais and the late Clarence Dumais. He graduated Rockville High School and served in the U.S. Army. Norman was extremely proud of and enjoyed his 39 year career at UTC Aerospace Systems. Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Debbie (Maynard) Dumais; his mother; two children, Todd Dumais and his wife Anna, and Tre-C Dumais; two grandchildren, Sophia and Samuel; five siblings, Norma Gaudet and her husband Ray, Patti Keenan, Susan Koprek and her husband Ron, Mike Dumais and his wife Nancy, and Dale Dumais and his wife Leslie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and family, and he will be most deeply missed. Besides enjoying his family and career, Norman had a passion for classic cars, camping, the casino, the beach, and was single-handedly responsible for the success of Folgers coffee. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Funeral services and burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
