Olga M. Panciera's Obituary
Olga M. Panciera, 100, formerly of Stafford, CT, wife of the late Raymond J. Panciera, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born on January 13, 1926, in Stafford, CT, the daughter of the late John, Jr. and Mary (Kmetz) Molitoris.
She attended local schools and was a congregant of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Stafford, where she served as organist for many years beginning at the age of 14. She retired in 1988 from AMF Cuno as a Personnel Assistant.
She lived a long and remarkable life of 100 years, marked by independence, curiosity, and steady devotion to the things she valued most. Many summers were spent vacationing on Cape Cod, a place she especially enjoyed. She was known for baking traditional Czechoslovakian pastries that honored her heritage and became enduring family favorites. A dedicated and enthusiastic bargain hunter, she approached shopping with both practicality and determination. Her home reflected her care and discipline; from the many bird feeders she faithfully maintained to the garments and keepsakes she created as an accomplished seamstress and knitter. She enjoyed music, reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, and cryptograms, pursuits that reflected her lifelong love of learning and thoughtful engagement with the world around her.
Olga leaves three loving children, Jane P. Dunstan of Newcastle, ME, Robert G. Panciera of Antioch, CA, and Gail M. Panciera of Somers, CT; grandson Keith (Kate) Dunstan; great-grandchildren Kyle, Makenna, and Jaxson; and brother Edward Molitoris. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Molitoris, who died in infancy.
Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076, or to a charity of one’s choice.
