Olga Satkowski's Obituary
Olga K. Satkowski, 82, of San Jose, CA, and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late John S. Satkowski, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2011. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Rudak) Kaschuluk. Olga had lived all her life in Stafford Springs, CT before moving to San Jose, CA in 1993. She was employed by St. Edward Parish as a secretary, and later at West Stafford School before retiring. Olga enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and quilting. Olga is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie S. and John W. McKenna of San Jose, CA, and Melissa J. and Timothy R. Plante of Plainfield, CT; a grandson, John Foster McKenna; four sisters, Irene Spak, her twin sister Amelia Schofield, Nancy Stone, and Hermina Fagan; many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Patricia D. Kirchhof and her husband Frank. She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, William, Benedict, and Albert Kaschuluk; and two sisters, Stella Liss and Jennie Uliana. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 9-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
