Olive M. Cooley's Obituary
Olive M. Cooley, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Omer and Maude (Smith) Cooley. Olive worked as a bookkeeper at the Co-op food store for many years, and then went to work for the Town of Stafford as an Assistant Town Clerk for 15 years before retirement. She was also a parishioner of St. Edward Church. Olive is survived by her brother, Richard Cooley and his wife Cynthia; sister, Jean Dupont; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Marjorie Bren, Winifred Reynolds, and Doris Sanger; and brother, Ralph Cooley. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
