Pamela J. Bergeron's Obituary
Pamela J. Bergeron, 76, of Somers, CT, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Pam was born in Stafford, CT, the daughter of the late Harold Bruce, Jr. and Irene (Hewitt) Bruce Daigle. She devoted much of her professional life to caring for others, retiring as a nurse from the State of Connecticut—a role that perfectly reflected her generous and nurturing spirit.
Food was Pam’s love language. She found joy in cooking for others and was always delivering meals, whether to celebrate a holiday, support someone who was ill, or simply to show she cared. Her home was often filled with laughter and warmth as she hosted countless parties and family gatherings. As the matriarch of her family, Pam was the heart of everything—always watching over everyone, offering comfort, guidance, and unconditional love.
In addition to cooking, Pam enjoyed gardening, caring for her plants, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. These passions reflected her patient, thoughtful nature and her appreciation for beauty in everyday life. Pam’s legacy of love, generosity, and care will live on in the many lives she touched.
Pam is survived by her loving daughter, Tara Bergeron; her cherished granddaughters, Miranda and Michela; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Lily and Bryce. She also leaves behind four siblings: Paula Dupre and her husband Ron, Kim Bard and her husband Brian, Marla Bartholomew and her husband Steve, and Harold Bruce III, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Tate Bergeron, and by her siblings Barry Bruce and Leigh Newton.
A visiting hour will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private at Palmertown Cemetery in Scotland, CT, at a later date.
