Patricia L. Gaudet's Obituary
Patricia L. (Messer) Gaudet, 82, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in New London, CT, daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Dembek) Messer. Pat spent many years devoted to raising her four children and as bookkeeper for her husband’s business. As their children grew, so did she, earning a degree in computer processing and enjoying a career at The Travelers for more than 20 years. In her later years she found great joy with her grandchildren and taking part in their many activities. In her last few years, spending time with her great granddaughter McKenzie brought a special light to her life. We will all miss her smile and laugh. Patricia is survived by her three children, Greg Gaudet and his partner Cathy Pedemonti, Bruce Gaudet and his fiancé Ginger Van Ness, and Pam Sargent and her husband Bill; eight grandchildren, Jacqui, Nicole, Charles, Heather, Bruce Jr., Kaitlyn, Sarah and Megan; two great grandchildren, McKenzie and Anthony; sister, Madeline Austin and her husband Peter; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold R. Gaudet; daughter, Elaine Gaudet; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Gaudet. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow the service at Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 122 East St., Windsor, CT. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
