Patricia Hine-Roberts' Obituary
Patricia L. Hine-Roberts, 58, of South Fork, CO, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Nicholas P. Hine, Sr. and Adele C. (Zalazo) Hine. Patty moved to Creede, CO when she was a young woman and enjoyed the San Juan Mountains that were all around her. She played, hiked, skied, camped, rode horses, and drove her Jeep in the San Juan’s. She traveled with her husband’s band and lived life to its fullest. She loved her gardens and pets. She supported many wildlife foundations and most of all she had a passion for giving to those that were in need of help. She was a true friend to many people, and her life was enriched with the numerous friendships she had. She leaves us with the fond memories of the kind and caring person she was. We will all miss her greatly. She was a retired surveyor for the Galactic Mining Company. She loved four wheeling to work, and spending her days working in the mountains surrounded by wildlife. Patty is survived by her husband, Robert Roberts; brother, Nicholas P. Hine, Jr. and his wife Kathy; sister, Barbara Allard and her husband Francis; niece, Leath Allard; and sister-in-law, Nancy Pannell. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Public Health Clinic Food Bank, P.O. Box 425, Creede, CO 81130. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements. For online condolences, please visit: www.introvignefuneralhome.com
