Patrick A. Klus' Obituary
Patrick A. Klus, 66, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019. He was born in San Jose, CA, son of Martha A. (Ice) Klus and the late Bernath M. Klus, Jr. Pat proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He trained and worked as an electrician and used those skills to help out with small jobs at friends houses, his church and Habitat for Humanity. Pat also enjoyed wood working, building models and designing sets for his model trains. During his retirement years, Pat enjoyed helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his mother, Pat is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Pickering and her husband Jared, and Kandace Murdock and her husband Corey; five grandchildren, Wesley and Erin Murdock, and Austin, Riley, and Abby Pickering; four siblings, Marjorie Sharp and her husband Keith, Michael Klus and his wife Dee Dee, Timothy Klus, and Cathy Juilfs and her husband Darren; his former wife, Jill Gregori; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Rose Roszczewski; sister-in-law, Judy Klus; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Dombek; and brother, Kenneth Klus. Funeral services and burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
