Patti (Baxter) Maher's Obituary
Patti Ann (Baxter) Maher, 50, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2011 at her new home in Brooksville, FL. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Floyd E. and Dorothy A. (Lanagan) Baxter. Patti was a loving, caring, charismatic woman, always ready to lend a helping hand. Big hugs and laughter surrounded her always. She touched the lives of so many people. Patti enjoyed camping at Hammonasett State park with her family as a child and recently spent the summer months at Sun Valley. She was a former banquet manager at Sun Valley in addition to employment by the Town of Stafford in the school system for the past 20 years. She was also a past president of the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed. Patti is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Thomas Maher; her daughter, Krista Ann Gibbons and her husband Joshua Gibbons, and their son the light of Patti’s life, “Little” Josh; her son, Jordan Edward Dallacorte; step daughter, Kelly Lemay; sister, Deborah Siebert and her husband Dennis; brother, Gary Baxter and his children Kaalyn and Joshua; her mother-in-law, Claudette Dworak; and many caring friends. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 12 Noon at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
