Paul H. Davis Sr.'s Obituary
Paul H. Davis, Sr., 81, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was born in Putnam, CT, son of the late Frederick and Juliette (Riel) Davis. Paul retired from John Olender Corporation having worked his entire life as a heavy equipment and truck mechanic. Paul worked hard his entire life determined to provide a better life for his family than he had growing up. He was very detailed oriented and meticulous when it came to taking care of his yard and house, both in Stafford and Florida. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and watching the Boston Red Sox. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, and his late dog, Bruno. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sylvia (Jakobsen) Davis; four children, Diane Morianos and her husband Tony of Florida, Paul H. Davis, Jr. and his wife Claudia, Shirley Allard and her husband Gary, and Philip Davis and his wife Nancy, all of Stafford Springs, CT; seven grandchildren, Paul and his wife Lori-Lynn, Matthew, Luke, Kristin and her husband Rob, Robert, Erik, and Sarah; two great grandchildren, Paul and Brian; four siblings, Frederick Davis and his wife Jacqueline, Patricia Stillwell and her husband Carl, MacGerald Davis and his wife Pauline, and Michael Davis and his wife Tammy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six siblings, David, Charles, Kenneth, Bruce, and Richard Davis, and Marguerite Lawrence. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
