Paul Galica's Obituary
Paul E. Galica, 74, of Leonard Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late John F. and Sophie (Naglack) Galica. Paul retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation as a general supervisor after 36 years of employment. He was a member of St. Edward Parish. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dorothy 'Dolly' (Coy) Galica of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter, Roxanne Galica; a granddaughter, Alexi Galica-Cohen, both of Bethlehem, NH; two brothers, Francis and Edward Galica, both of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters, Anne Vieira and Rosie Harrington, both of Rhode Island; a goddaughter, Lorraine Hooper; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Matthew, John, Joseph, and Stanley Galica; and two sisters, Helen Dorsey and Sophie Wargo. At Paul's request, funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private. There are no calling hours.
