Paul Marek's Obituary
Paul J. Marek, 83, of Schofield Rd., Willington, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at his home. He was born in Lansford, PA, son of the late Andrew and Pauline (Luhcac) Marek. Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a laborer. He was a member of St. Jude Parish and Corporal Henry Toberman V.F.W. Post No. 938 of Willington. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy A. Marek of Willington, CT; two daughters, Theresa Therrien of Wales, MA and Elizabeth Hall of Wallingford, CT; a son Paul Marek of Colorado; four grandchildren, Michelle and Roseanne Therrien, and Meagan and Brian Hall; two sisters, Stephania Marek of Redding, PA and Margaret Heil of Allentown, PA; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Jude Church, Old Farms Rd., Willington, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Church, P.O.
