Paul Palacko's Obituary
Paul Palacko, 89, of Meadow Lane, Stafford Springs, CT, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Youngstown, OH, son of the late George and Susan (Pallo) Palacko. Paul was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, and retired as a truck driver from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post No. 9990 of Stafford, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Palacko of Stafford Springs, CT; three brothers and two sisters-in-law John and Ruth Palacko of Stafford Springs, CT, Michael Palacko of Maine, and Edward R., Sr. and Pauline Palacko of Stafford Springs, CT; a sister Amelia Gavine of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, George Palacko, Andrew Palacko, and Steven Palacko; and two sisters, Helen Dymerski and Mary Sabourin. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 9:30-11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
