Paul Parrow,'s Obituary
When in your life you are so blessed to be touched by a heart and soul so strong that it helps define who you are, you are truly blessed. Paul M. Parrow, Sr., 77, of Stafford Springs, CT, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away from this life surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was born on October 16, 1934 in Burlington, VT, son of the late Alexander and Agnes (Murray) Parrow. He graduated from Stafford High School and went on to Hartford Engineering Tech. He was a Pattern and tool and die maker, Design Engineer for Sikorsky and Kaman, and for many years was a builder and developer. Paul loved hunting and fishing, a good game of horseshoes, and spending time with his family, all of whom were greatly touched by his love and will dearly miss him. Paul leaves his beloved wife of 59 years, Gail (Turnberg) Parrow; three loving and devoted children, Paul M. Parrow, Jr. and his wife Donna, Lori Parrow, and Lenny Parrow and his wife Grace; seven grandchildren, Carly, Carey, Paul III, EJ, Dusty, Adam, and Sammy; nine great grandchildren, Damian, Brett, Megan, Brooklyn, Norah, Kate, Claire, Madison, and Chase; sister, Eunice Possardt; brother, Alexander Parrow; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, John Parrow; sister, Genevieve Farquhar; and brother, Richard Parrow. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
