Paul S. Zamsky's Obituary
Paul S. Zamsky, 64, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2014. He was born in Yonkers, NY, son of Irene (Osgyani) Zamsky and the late Arthur Zamsky. Paul had resided in Stafford Springs since 1964, and was a graduate of Stafford High School and Manchester Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and had worked as an industrial supervisor for Colt Manufacturing before retirement. Paul was an avid sportsman and proud member of the Rockville Fish and Game Club, Springfield Sportsman Club, and the Stafford Historical Society. He was also an enthusiastic follower of UConn Women’s Basketball and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his precious grandchildren. Paul is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 37 years Joan (Panciera) Zamsky; his devoted and loving daughter Erica (Zamsky) Hunt and her husband Ryan; his cherished grandchildren Dylan and Josie Hunt; brothers Arthur Zamsky and his wife Betty, Stephen Zamsky and his wife Linda, and Mark Zamsky and his wife Romae; several nieces and nephews; special cousins Katrina and Gerald, and Michael and Pam; close friends Craig and Brenda, and Mark and Nancy; as well as other cousins, friends and fellow shooters. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Zamsky. His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
