Pearl L. Cavar's Obituary
Pearl L. Cavar, 82, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, daughter of the late Ralph, Sr. and Etta (Roth) Breneman. Pearl was employed by the State of Connecticut as a nurses aide. She is survived by her son, Al Higgins and his wife Sharon of Stafford Springs, CT; three grandchildren, Adam Higgins and his wife Liz, Anne Marie Higgins-Proulx and her husband Jason, and Cory Higgins; four great grandchildren, Holden and Harper Higgins, and Logan and Ben Proulx; three siblings, Alice Anderson, Fred Breneman, and John Breneman; her very dear friend, Irene DeCoff; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 8 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Evergreen Health Care Center Memory Unit, and also the hospice nurses, for all of their care and support.
