Peter Lusa's Obituary
Peter Lusa, 77, of Ellington, CT passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Rockville General Hospital. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Antonio and Patricia (Murray) Lusa. He worked as a prison guard for the Connecticut Department of Corrections for 20 years, and served in the National Guard. Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sandra (Panciera) Lusa; three children and their spouses, Peter Lusa, Jr. and his wife Ginger, Beth Ann Sarkisian and her husband Scott, and Jennifer Dawson and her husband Edward; six grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Emily, Zachary, Elizabeth, and Eddie; a sister, Patty Greika; two brothers and their spouses, Jerry Lusa and his wife Patrice, and Paul Lusa and his wife Judy; a sister-in-law, Nancy Lusa; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Tony Lusa. Funeral services will be private. Donations in Peter’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
