Peter Piccoli's Obituary
Peter E. Piccoli, 81, of Susan Dr., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Elaine B. Piccoli, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Domenico and Catherine (Bresson) Piccoli. Peter was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired having worked as a produce manager for the Mansfield and Stafford A & P stores for 49 years. He was also a member of St. Edward Parish and the Italian Benefit Society. Peter is survived by his four children, Lorraine Keough and her husband George, Michael Piccoli and his wife Lisa, James Piccoli, and Edward Piccoli and his wife Lisa; four grandchildren, Christopher Piccoli and his wife Amy, Jeremy, Anthony, and Felicia Piccoli; sister, Dolores Upton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Ernaldo "Toke", Evo, Mario "Ace", and Americo "Becko" Piccoli; and two sisters, Agnes "Jenny" Piccoli and Clara Janiak. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at the family's convenience. Calling hours are on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
