Our dear neighbor, I hope you know how much we cherish you today and always. I will miss our backyard conversations, your text messages from Florida showing the great times you’re having, our little countdown to baby girl, our little phone calls with life updates, and just your presence every time we see each other. Thank you for welcoming us, thank you for being such a bright and loving person, thank you for being someone we knew we could always count on. We were so blessed to share this little piece of life with you, our babies will always remember Mr. Pete and your joyful self, and I will always treasure the time we had with you. You are so loved, always remembered, and forever missed. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Semper Fi Pete, Fair Winds and Following Seas, forever and always.

I remember going to the news room and sit at the counter and chat with Pete when i was very young. Then visiting him in Somers. Recently in the last few years Pete would come to Florida and visit our mutual friends. We always had a nice visit. I will miss him and his laugh.

Many people navigating the court system experience no small measure of anxiety. Peter put people at ease. He was unbelievably funny while simultaneously keeping a firm handle on everything.
