Philip L. Balanceau's Obituary
Philip L. Balanceau, 67, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born in Portland, ME, son of Phyllis (Howell) Capen and the late Philip J. Balanceau. Phil served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, and worked as a carpenter throughout his life. He was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Phil is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Maureen (Bentley) Balanceau; 10 children, Robert and Toni, Sarah, Susane and Uwe, Dolores, Nilda, Catherine, Philip and Jess, Thomas and Desarae, Shannon, and Danielle; 23 grandchildren; three sisters, Carol, Betty, and Diane; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 12:00-2:30 P.M. with a funeral service and Military Honors to take place at 2:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, National Processing Center, P.O.
