Philip Laroche's Obituary
Philip J. Laroche, 66, of Keeney St., Ellington, CT, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Eugene and Irene (Carter) Laroche. Phil was a graduate of Central Connecticut State College, and retired from Aetna Life and Casualty as a systems analyst. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Rockville, and was a former Cub Master in Enfield for Troop #392. He also coached little league many years ago, and greatly enjoyed golfing. Phil is survived by his two children, Dan Laroche of Greenfield, MA, and Monique Laroche of Enfield, CT; three grandchildren, Angeline, Benjamin, and Cora; and his former wife, Diane Laroche of Windsor, CT. He was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Eugene Laroche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. Memorial donations may be made to Tri-Town Shelter Services, P.O. Box 28, Vernon, CT 06066.
