Philip J. Nevers, Sr.'s Obituary
Philip J. Nevers, Sr., 70, of Willington, CT, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rochester, NH, son of the late Ralph and Joan (Pay) Nevers. Phil formerly worked as manager of Acme Auto Supply. He was a member of the Willington Hill Fire Department, Willington Republican Committee, and Willington Planning and Zoning Committee. He thoroughly enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going on trips with the Red Knights motorcycle club. His love for antique cars was very well known. Phil loved traveling the world. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Melody (Perry) Nevers; five children, James Nevers and his wife Christine, Philip J. Nevers, Jr. and his wife Cindy, Christine Briggs, Cathie Greene, and Heather Estey and her husband Buddy; 11 grandchildren; a great grandson; two brothers, Peter Nevers and David Nevers and his wife Lucy; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Greene; and two brothers, Lindsey Nevers and Richard Mantos. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 1-3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place privately in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT.
