Phillip L. Ireland's Obituary
Phillip L. Ireland, 81, of Ashford, CT passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Lincoln, ME, son of the late Leonard and Bessie (Lancaster) Ireland. He had a great love for his home, where he loved to tinker, but he was happiest in his garden. Phillip is survived by his four children, Phillip Ireland, Ronald Ireland and his wife Kimberly, Rhonda Pehowdy and her husband Tom, and Shelly Ireland; six grandchildren, Brittany Barrett and her husband George, David Ireland, Elizabeth Ireland, Carolyn Klei, Crystal Angle and her husband Scott, and Heather Ireland; many great grandchildren, sister, Nada Chase; his loving companion, Denise Angell; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Verna (Belanger) Ireland; grandson, Kenneth Ireland; and five siblings. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
