Priscilla D. Mason's Obituary
Priscilla D. Mason, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, was called home by the Lord our God on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Priscilla was born in South Ryegate, VT, the daughter of the late Winona (Whitehill) Davidson. She lived with quiet confidence, enduring independence, and a steady work ethic, always guided by her deep devotion to family.
Priscilla’s working years began modestly, delivering eggs from her grandfather’s farm as a teenager, but ended with a professional career in which she took great pride. After 17 years in Aetna’s finance and stock settlement division, she was known for her attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and a technical savvy that far exceeded the norm for her generation.
Even in retirement, Priscilla remained sharp and connected. She followed current events closely and stayed involved in her family’s lives through social media, daily phone conversations, and long-distance travel whenever she had the opportunity. She also found comfort in knitting and puzzles—quiet hobbies that reflected her patience, focus, and gentle spirit.
Priscilla and her late husband, Carroll D. Mason, shared nearly 65 years of marriage filled with adventure, caring, companionship, and countless memories made while traveling the world together—moments she treasured and recounted often throughout her life.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly: two children, Dennis Mason and his wife Sharyl, and Melissa Kozuch and her husband Scott; five grandchildren, Kathryn Mason and her partner Michael Boyd, Christopher Mason and his wife Sadie, Deanna Hovinga and her husband Brian, Mallory Molina and her husband Patricio, and Shauna Chasse and her husband Jordan; seven great‑grandchildren, Luna, Ambellina, Tommy, Novaleigh, Catalina, Evangeline, and Brooklyn; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband, Carroll, Priscilla was predeceased by her grandson, Aaron Mason, and her sister and best friend, Louise (Davidson) Doe.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place in the spring at Pinehurst Cemetery in South Ryegate, VT.
Memorial donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
