Raissa Tripoli's Obituary
Raissa (DaRos) Tripoli, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Blair Manor, Enfield, CT. She was born in Staffordville, CT, daughter of the late Marino and Maria (Lazzaris) DaRos. Raissa was educated in the local schools. In her younger days, she worked at Schwanda's Button Factory, and later retired from the former Stafford Printers. Her hobbies included duckpin bowling, counted cross-stitch, sewing, and rug-braiding. She was also a member of St. Edward Parish. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Salvatore "Sam" Tripoli; three children, David Tripoli, James Tripoli and his wife Nancy; and Anne Kaschuluk and her husband Michael; three grandchildren, Katherine Tripoli, Eric Tripoli and his fiancé Jennifer Marcos, and Ellen Kaschuluk; brother, Ronnie DaRos and his wife Esther; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Mike and Leo. A calling hour will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Blair Manor, especially her aide Ellen, for all of their support.
