Ralph P. Guerra's Obituary
Ralph P. Guerra, 99, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Mary (Scott) Guerra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Joseph and Lena (Calchera) Guerra. He worked as a poultry farmer for the Guerra Poultry Farm, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Ralph is survived by a son, Richard Guerra; a sister, Vilma Osada; a sister-in-law and best friend, Lucille Guerra; five grandchildren, Troy Fluckiger, Guy Fluckiger, Debbie Manning, Dawn McKay, and Mike Guerra; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special group of extended family. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Roberts; and his brothers Arthur and Floyd Guerra. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 3-5 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 5 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery will take place privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Stafford Senior Center, 3 Buckley Highway, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
