Ralph Hoague's Obituary
Ralph “Chewey” Hoague, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Driscoll) Hoague. Chewey was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and retired as a construction worker from McBeth Construction Company in Simsbury. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society and the Stafford Fish and Game Club, and member of Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion. Chewey is survived by a niece, Shirley (Hoague) Smith of Stafford Springs, CT; and a nephew, Frank Bielecki of Rockville, CT. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
